Duomo at Night

Most tourists enjoy visiting the duomo during the day, as it is a very special place and one of the landmarks of Milan. But at night it’s a different experience. The lights of the Duomo are beautiful and the surrounding streets are loaded with bars, discos and restaurants. While waiting for the sun to go down and the nightlife to pick up, enjoy the Happy Hour at local bars. From 16:00 – 20:00 many bars in Milan offer free food with drink orders.

Navigli in Milan

There was once a network of canals called navigli used for irrigation and transportation in Milan. Today there are only two of the navigli left. They are located in the Porta Ticinese area, which becomes very lively at night. Wear nice clothes and head to this river area at night to go for a walk and enjoy the pizzerias, bars, pubs and restaurants. The Milanese flock to this area, so it’s a good place to get a taste of local nightlife.

Milan Clubs

Club Hollywood is well-known as being the place to see people and to be seen. Supposedly there are some famous people who frequent this club and it’s possible to rub shoulders with them. There is an entrance fee and drinks are not cheap. The Brera district has several streets lined with pubs and restaurants. It is a 5-minute walk from the Lanza metrostation.
