Beaches

Mazatlan caters to travelers from around the world. Many come for its miles of beaches and oceanfront resorts. Los Osuna is great, but it takes time and can be expensive. If you’re only in Mazatlan for a few hours, stop by a liquor store or bar in the city and try some tequila there.

Stone Island

Stone Island, or Isla De La Piedra to the locals, is a great excursion, especially if you’re on a cruise. Near the cruise terminal, you can hop on a water taxi and take a short ride to the island. There, you can search for souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry, or find a comfortable place on the beach. While on the island, you can rent an ATV or jet ski, snorkel along the shore.
