  • Mazatlan Things To Do

  • Mazatlan is a resort town on the west coast of Mexico. While in Mazatlan, soak up the sun, take a ride on a banana boat, and sample the local tequila.

  • Beaches

  • Mazatlan caters to travelers from around the world. Many come for its miles of beaches and oceanfront resorts. While in town, you'll find plenty of places to grab a drink, eat, and shop on the beaches. You can also go horseback riding along the water, parasail, or spread out on a towel and let time pass you by.

  • Tequila Tour

  • Mexico is home to some of the finest tequila in the world. If you're a fan, set-up a tour. Los Osuna is one option. Tour guides will meet you in the city and drive you to the outskirts where the tequila is made. There, you can have a few samples and learn how they make tequila. Los Osuna is great, but it takes time and can be expensive. If you're only in Mazatlan for a few hours, stop by a liquor store or bar in the city and try some tequila there.

  • Stone Island

  • Stone Island, or Isla De La Piedra to the locals, is a great excursion, especially if you're on a cruise. Near the cruise terminal, you can hop on a water taxi and take a short ride to the island. There, you can search for souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry, or find a comfortable place on the beach. While on the island, you can rent an ATV or jet ski, snorkel along the shore.
