Marrakesh is a major city in the Kingdom of Morocco. It is a major tourist destination, but it is important to follow a few tips regarding what to pack.
Marrakesh can be very hot, especially from March to October, so don't forget to bring some light clothes, T-shirts and shorts will do under many conditions. You might even consider wearing your soccer jersey, because the locals are big fans. It might even get you a discount at some stores. Although you might not expect it, you’ll want to bring some warm clothes if you are planning to go to the desert, since it actually gets quite cold there in the evening.
Clothes to Pack
You may want to bring some long trousers if you want to visit mosques and religious buildings. It’s best to dress conservatively at those locations. However, since Morocco is a Muslim country, ladies will want to generally avoid wearing sleeveless tops and overly revealing shorts.
The city is beautiful, so you won’t want to forget your camera. However, don’t forget to bring your hand sanitizer as well. This will help keep you safe from germs. Also, don’t forget to stay hydrated. Marrakesh can become especially hot, so you’ll want to take some bottles of water when you travel.
