Supermarkets

Right in the middle of the golden mile you will find three supermarkets within 100 meters of each other: Lidl, Super Sol, and El Corte Ingles. The fact that they are so close makes it really convenient for a shopping day. For those staying in the Grand Hotel Guadalpin Marbella Spa, all three supermarkets are just within a 5 minute walk. A favorite of visitors who have gone before tends to be El Coret Ingles due to its style, quality, layout, and variety. You’ll find it in the basement of a stunning building that also houses two floors of exquisite furnishings. Try their fresh fish, cold meats, pates, whole cured jamon, a wide selection of alcohol and an excellent range of their own brand of products. The displays in this supermarket alone will have you salivating.

Old Town

The Old Town of Marbella is a treasure-trove of wonderful little shops to explore, such as Ceramica San Nicolas and Artesania Espanola offering beautiful hand-crafted ceramics. La Paz offers a variety of religious articles, and unique to Marbella you’ll find the Proud Scout which carries a fantastic selection of American Indian Crafts with genuine turquoise silver jewelry. Other shops and boutiques offer souvenirs, jewelry, clothing, accessories, shoes, sporting goods, etc. You’ll have a great time exploring all the quaint narrow streets and alleyways where these little boutiques were tucked away.
