Mandaluyong is a city in the Philippines located directly east of Manila. It is one of the sixteen cities which, along with the Municipality of Pateros, make up Metro Manila, the National Capital Region.

Bars & Restaurants

There are many popular restaurants and bars in Mandaluyong that make great places to go for some nightlife. Some of the most popular ones are the E Bar in the Ortigas Are, the El Pueblo complex which has many bars including the Congo Grille which many visitors find to have good food and drink as well as a fun atmosphere. The Luxe Bar is one of four bars in the EDSA Shangri La Hotel, known to be fancy but pretty expensive for the area. A step outside the usual for Mandaluyong will take you to the Brotzeit Bier Bar and Restaurant, the city’s only authentic German style beer garden.

Clubs

The Ortigas district is a great place to look for some partying and clubbing. The clubs come and go in popularity, so you might want to ask around or do a quick search for the most up to date options, but a good bet for some music at a good venue is the Nialblitz Bar and Music Studio which has a reputation for being affordable and comfortable, not too big or too small.

Around Town

Streetscape is part of the Shangri La shopping mall where you can dance, drink, eat and groove in the outdoor cafes. Live bands play Friday and Saturday with shows going from 9:30 p.m. to around 1 a.m. Best of all, no cover charge and you can choose from the many restaurants: Red Crab, Sushi Bar, Gloriamaris, Via Mare, and CinnZeo. The restaurant Dome is a little pricey, but offers the exclusive center spot for viewing the live band.
