Think you’re smarter than the current crop of airline executives? You’re not alone—lurking behind much of the current grumbling about the deteriorating state of travel is the thought, “If I were in charge, I could do this better.”
Oneworld—the global [[Airline Alliance | airline alliance]] comprising [[American Airlines | American]], [[British Airways]], [[Cathay Pacific Airways | Cathay Pacific]], etc.—is offering travelers a chance to weigh in with their ideas for improving the travel experience, by improving the alliance. And there’s a reward for the best suggestion: around-the-world tickets for two in business class, valued at more than $17,000.
Here’s the pitch from oneworld’s website: “Please tell us how we can build on that success by sharing your idea for new initiatives that we can develop in the future to make your oneworld travel experience even better. Enter your idea below and you could win a pair of round-the-world tickets in Business Class.”
Three judges will evaluate the entries, based on the following criteria: “Originality, commercial viability, compatibility with the positioning of the oneworld brand, feasibility of implementation, and reasoning behind the entry.”
There’s no limit to the number of ideas you can submit between now and December 31.
