Vacation tour operator Contiki launched a new contest today that encourages travelers to make videos of their trips for a chance to win a vacation to Australia or Greece.
Contiki, which caters to the 18-to-35-year-old crowd, is sponsoring what it calls the “Director’s Cut” video contest for past and current customers. The idea is to create a one- to two-minute video that chronicles your trip (and the rules actually stipulate you must include several shots of the Contiki logo in the film) and then have it judged by users over at YouTube.com.
The contest encourages travelers to “keep the camera rolling beyond just the main sights and attractions.” Contiki is one of the leading tour operators for younger travelers. It promotes an active travel style that involves meeting people and exploring destinations.
