Large malls invite shoppers to have fun and explore the many treasures in this region. Head for the public squares along with shopping at street level for a fun day.

Senado Square

One of the largest public squares in Macao, this is a gathering spot as well as a place to explore the area shops. Look for major retailers offering goods from all over the world including Italian handbags and the latest fashions. This is also a great place to grab some local dim sum. This is also a great place to find items from Portugal like port wines and sausages.

Factory Outlets and Duty Free Shopping

Macao is also mecca for factory outlets and shopping that does not carry additional taxes. This is where many retailers offer goods that are high quality but may have slight flaws Look for stores around the Praia Grande area.

The Grand Canal and Fisherman’s Wharf 

One of the largest malls in the area is a mall called the Grand Canal. It’s more than nine hectares of shopping space with over three hundred shops. This is one of the best places to find discount clothing from some of the best retailers in the nation. The Grand Canal also features shops selling jewelry with designs from major jewelry centers across Asia. Another major shopping area is the Fisherman’s Wharf near the ferry terminal. It has over one hundred and fifty shops as well as restaurants and children’s rides.
