Secret Garden Restaurant

This lovely little restaurant tucked away on the outskirts of Senggigi is run by a Belgian lady (who loves scuba diving) with a mixed international & local cuisine variety on the menu. The restaurant is set outdoors next to a lovely romanesque pool, and the ambience and setting make for a romantic meal. Take a taxi as it is off the beaten track.

Party Night

On Trawangen, try to find out where the party will be that night – it’s usually advertised on trees and notice boards. Because there are no police on the island, mushroom omelets, drinks, pizzas, etc. are sold openly.

Marina Cafe

Lombok’s version of a Hard Rock Cafe is located right in the heart of Senggigi, just beside Ray hotel and across the street from the Lina hotel. The Marina Cafe features live entertaiment and a blended local and western menu. There are two floors, with a pool table on the upper floor. Open nightly, there’s an entrance fee that includes one drink.

Senggigi Road

Senggigi Road has most of the nightclubs, and all the joints are near each other. Try Papaya Cafe, Happy Cafe or Bukit Sengigi disco. There’s no dress code.
