The Las Vegas shopping scene offers everything from vintage clothing to exotic cars.
All the usual outlets, malls, and designer shops abound, but the city has a lot to offer that you won't see elsewhere—so it's worth spending some time shopping in Las Vegas to seek out the things you can't find at home.
In the heart of gambling America, how could visitors not check out Gamblers Book Club? The shop stocks just about everything ever written about gambling and shares a downtown location with Gamblers General Store, where you can pick up everything from used decks of cards from various casinos to that vintage slot machine you need to complete your game room.
For a taste of area music, check out the dedicated local band section at Zia Record Exchange, which has two Vegas locations.
Or take home a little of the magic of a different kind of performance. At Houdini's Magic Shop, which has locations in town at several casino-malls, you can stock up on tips, tricks, and magic supplies.
Get your sugar fix at M&M's World, where you can customize the beloved candy with your own name or personal message.
If you're a fan of the History Channel's "Pawn Stars," you'll want to check out the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which sells antiques and memorabilia.
Many large casino hotels in Las Vegas are home to shopping areas with brand-name and designer stores. The Grande Canal Shoppes at the Venetian provide more than 500,000 square feet of upscale shops, as well as gondola rides, restaurants, bars, and entertainment.
The Roman-themed Forum Shops at Caesars Palace are a fun place to browse hundreds of brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Cartier, Armani, Gucci, and many more.
The only open-air mall on the Strip, the Grand Bazaar Shops at Bally's offer a unique Las Vegas shopping experience. Aside from dozens of retailers, there are also two nightly music and light shows at 9:00 p.m. and midnight.
