The nearest airport to Kusadasi is the Izmir airport, which is 80Km away, and takes about an hour in a car. Ferry to Other Mediterranean Islands
There is a daily ferry to and from the Greek island of Samos. This is perfect for people who want to explore the island for the day. The ship leaves first thing in the morning, and it returns late in the evening. You are required to have your passport and any other necessary paperwork. Daytrippers are required to leave their passports at the harbor immigration office, and they get them back when they leave the island.
