Food, clothing, and fun! There is a lot to try and buy in Krabi, Thailand!

This is a must for all food lovers. Delicious Thai food can be found from many sellers and at incredible low prices. Taste them all! One favorite is Tom Kha Kai, spice chicken soup with coconut milk and galanga (a sort of ginger).

There are hundreds of small shops selling similar items, from bags, t-shirts, and bikinis, to sandals and clothing. There are many roadside stalls and small shops and bargaining is a must.

Chock Dee specializes in handmade jewlery, and shoppers can find beautiful original silver bracelets, rings, necklaces and earring. It can be quite expensive, in comparison to other products available in Krabi, but with a little bargaining you might get a good deal.

A couple of small boutique clothes shops in Krabi sell really nice women’s clothes, bags, and t-shirts. Some sell men's clothing as well. These boutiques are not your average Krabi shop however, where you can buy cheap knock off designer gear and mass produced souvenirs. These are generally fixed price shops and won't appreciate you trying to haggle with them.

Another fun way to get beautiful clothing is to visit a tailor and have something custom made. The starting price is around 3000 baht, but you may find a better deal in Bangkok.
