You’ll also have easy access to a number of Metro stations, making it easy to get anywhere you need to go within the city.

Rooms at the Kimpton George are decorated in true Washington style—you’ll find nods to the first president everywhere from the wall art to the throw pillows. Rooms all feature the famously comfortable Kimpton beds, a luxurious pillow-top mattress topped with crisp Frette sheets.

Standard rooms are fairly spacious, starting at around 300 square feet. Families may want to upgrade to one of the suites, which offer 535 square feet of space—including a separate dining area.

Bistro Bis serves breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner from 8 am to 9 pm. The French bistro-style restaurant is helmed by James Beard Award-winning Chef Jeffrey Buben, who draws in a loyal local crowd thanks to his three other popular restaurants nearby.

The outdoor terrace is a popular spot in the summer to see and be seen, and the indoor bar draws a big post-work happy hour crowd.
