The Hippie Market

Before it became the tourist destination it is today, Ibiza was an artist’s colony. It attracted primarily outgoing creative types who lived and created there in the beautiful weather. That vibe still emanates on the island today. One place you can find it is at the Hippie Market. The market is an easily accessible shopper’s paradise that rotates locations and is located within walking distance of a number of the most popular hotels in Ibiza. The Hippie Market happens twice a week at two different locations. Es Cana hosts on Wednesdays and on Saturdays it’s in San Carlos.

Vendors set up their booths and sell their wares to shoppers looking to get unique items. There are so many vendors that you may need to visit more than once in order to shop them all. Adding to the festivities, there are musical performances going on throughout the market all day. Many tourists list the Hippy Market as their favorite experience of their visit to the island, thanks to its relaxed and inviting energy.

A 24-Hour Party

When it comes to nightlife, Ibiza is unrivaled in Spain. In fact, the island is so dedicated to entertainment that the party often continues into the day. There aren’t many places where you can dance to some of the most popular DJs in the world on some of the most beautiful beaches, but you can in Ibiza. There are so many clubs on the island you could go to one every night for months and never repeat yourself.

One of the most popular clubs on Ibiza is Amnesia. That is due in part to the experience and in part to the fact that they hit you with advertisements for the club the moment you step off the plane. If you want the place with the most action, this is it. For the insomniacs in your group, there is a foam party that usually kicks off around 5:00 a.m. To make a long story short, you don’t have to party all night on Ibiza, but you certainly can.

Water Activities

Options abound if you enjoy water activities. Boat rentals are readily available. If you like to observe aquatic life, take a tour on a glass-bottom boat. Like to shred? Ibiza has some of the best waterskiing on the planet.
