  • Glasgow Nightlife

  • With a large variety of traditional pubs and trendy clubs, Glasgow nightlife has something for everyone.

  • Clubs

  • King Tut’s - Rated by New York magazine, as one of the world’s top ten must see clubs.

The Garage – As one user noted, “If you have a driving license you won't come in. You're too old."

The Cathouse – It’s one of Glasgow's only rock/punk/metal clubs. Live bands play some nights, and Thursday night has a happy hour.

Tiger Tiger - Individually designed rooms of Tiger Tiger include the laid-back Lounge Bar, the funky Kaz Bar, and a contemporary restaurant.

Solid Rock Café - Think Metallica, Rage against the Machine, Clutch, and Iron Maiden as mostly what’s heard in this club.

The Glasgow School of Art – A club with top-notch DJs and a low cover charge.

  • Pubs

  • O’Neill’s - There are three O’Neill’s in Glasgow. The best one by far is located on Albion Street.

The Griffin Bar - One of Glasgow's oldest pubs, the Griffin Bar offers a full range of drinks and typical pub food. It also has a quirky side with dishes on the menu such as ”Glasgow salad”, which turns out to be a bowl of chips.

Molly Malone’s - Molly Malone's, a traditional Irish pub, serves excellent lagers and stouts on tap, as well as food, and all types of drinks.

The Counting House – A JD Weatherspoon’s Pub in the Center of Glasgow has half-priced drinks and no live music.

Republic Bier Halle – They have several locations throughout Glasgow that serve beers from all over the world.
