There are plenty of pubs in Georgia where you can get a drink. Visitors can try the white wine that is made by fermenting the grape on the grape skin, a process only used for red wine in the West. Vodka and spirits are common everywhere, and the national drink of Georgia is called chacha. Unsurprisingly, chacha is very popular with the locals, while Kazbegi and Argo are some of the dominant beers on the market. There are pubs in the center of almost every major city in the country.

One particular popular bar is the KGB Bar. There’s seating both inside and outside, and the bar itself is decorated with all sorts of relics from the era of the Soviet Union. It’s a friendly bar where you can enjoy a relaxed drink.

Clubs

Switch is one of the most popular clubs in the city of Tbilisi. It is actually a private club, because not everyone is allowed inside. Visitors need to make sure they’re well dressed to gain entry. The club is small, and almost always packed. It also plays great music to dance to and hosts relatively famous DJs from around the world. If you’re not in the mood for loud music and thick crowds, you can instead visit the Magti Club. Also located in Tbilisi, the Magti Club focuses on playing live music and gives you more breathing room than Switch does.
