Gdansk Things to Do
Gdansk is a port city in Northern Poland on the coast of the Baltic Sea. This eclectic town offers a variety of interesting things for travelers to do.
Have Some Fun at Bunkier Klubogaleria
Once a wartime bunker, this is now one of Gdansk’s hottest hangouts. During the day, it offers a relaxed pub environment, serving food and drinks. At night, however, the venue transforms into an exciting nightclub with four themed rooms for patrons to enjoy. Whether you choose to stop by during the day or at night, there is always a decent sized crowd, making this a great place to relax and have some fun while meeting new friends.
Try to Escape the Room of Plenty
The Room of Plenty is somewhat of a museum of the forgotten traveler, Ludwig Plenty. However, instead of following a traditional museum format, the Room of Plenty is structured as an escape room game. You and your fellow guests will have to examine clues and solve riddles, all while learning the story of Plenty, in order to find your way out. It offers a great time for all involved and is a unique take on the museum atmosphere.
Visit St. Bridget’s Church
Saint Bridget’s is the primary church for the Gdansk shipyards. Although it is somewhat more reserved than some of the more ornate churches throughout the region, its subtle details make up for the lack of over-the-top ostentatiousness. The church was also the base for the resistance to Communism in the region throughout history, led by Father Henryk Jankowski. It is also the largest brick church in the world.
