Pasay City Things to Do
A visitor coming to Manila in the Philippines, one of the largest cities in the entire world, will not suffer for lack of things to do with their vacation time. Those who visit Pasay City, located near the beach on the western side of Manila, can find a bevy of fun activities and sights.
The name is a bit deceiving, since Harbour Square isn’t actually by the water but in the middle of the town itself. Even so, it’s a great place to stroll about and take in the sights. Visitors can find a hawker’s market and a variety of restaurants and bars whenever hunger or thirst strikes.
What is Filipino culture? If you’re not sure of the answer, swing by the Cultural Center in Pasay City, which was built by a former first lady to be a center for art and culture in Manilla. Visitors can take in a show ranging from ballet to opera, or browse the galleries to see examples of famous artists and their works.
Mall of Asia
One of the most famous attractions in all of the Philippines is the Mall of Asia, a massive complex that features not just shopping but nearly everything else under the sun. Visitors to Pasay City can head to the Mall whenever they want to watch a dolphin show, take in a concert, go ice skating, pick up groceries, find souvenirs, or see a movie. The complex is gigantic and the stores themselves are huge, allowing anyone to wander through for hours on end.
