Free Nights, Free Dining, Free Cars, and Free Checked Bags

The idea of getting something for nothing is an invigorating thought, especially when everything seems to have strings attached. Just mention the word, and, like moths to an open flame, we’re inclined to rush in, hopefully without getting burned.

So it wasn’t surprising that Southwest Vacations’ Free for All promotion conjured the same apprehension and excitement in me, because I was instantly drawn in by my favorite “F” word.

If you’re planning a trip between July 6 and December 15, 2010, you may want to investigate this deal further. You can get free nights, free dining, free car rentals, free shows, and as always with Southwest, two free checked bags with a vacation package booked by July 19. Packages start as low as $52 per night per person (without taxes and fees), and are available in cities like Las Vegas, Orlando, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and New Orleans.  The free offers vary by property and are subject to availability.
