After you finish the tour, you can visit some of the other exhibits and shops in the Stockyards Historical District, plus take a carriage ride and even see a real cattle drive. Visit the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame and the National Cowgirl Museum for more cowboy history. Fort Worth has a lot to offer in regards to arts and culture. Though it is small, the Kimball Art Museum has a great collection of significant works of art with special shows throughout the year. If you like Western art, then don’t miss the Sid Richardson collection in the Sundance District. The Modern Arts Museum in the Museum District has some of the best artwork and displays in the country. Another worthwhile art museum in the area is the Amon Carter Museum in the Cultural District. The Museum of Science and History is a great place to take your family as it has a myriad of activities for people of all ages.
