Add flu shots to the list of things you can pick up on your way through the airport. Shots are now available at airports in Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco, Denver, Newark, Las Vegas, and Vancouver, B.C., reports USA Today.
The major benefits of the service are getting an errand done at the airport (and how often does that happen, unless of course you’re a very-last-minute Christmas shopper) and getting your yearly flu shot out of the way.
However, there’s also a potential downside. A few of the editors here pointed out that some people feel slightly ill for a day or two after receiving the shot, and getting on a plane feeling achy and under the weather doesn’t sound particularly appealing. Maybe it’s the cabin pressurization or the recycled air, but I never feel that great on planes anyway, so I don’t think it would be so bad.
