My First Visit To South Beach, Miami

Author: karol4u
Date of Trip: January 2001

The beaches of South Beach are so beautiful, and with all the Art Deco buildings, hotels, and restaurants, it was just wonderful. We had lunch at Mango’s Tropical Cafe, did a little shopping, and returned home. All and all, it was a beautiful day trip.

Miami’s South Beach
The beach facilities include a bath house, chair & umbrella rentals, refreshments and more. The beach is so beautiful, and the water is so blue. The beach is very large, so there is plenty of room to accommodate the crowds. Lifeguard stations are every 50 yards. There are security guards on hand who patrol the beach. The beach is top optional, so families need to be prepared for that.

It was great–waitresses are dressed in really cool leapord outfits with a Spanish theme. During our time there, they jumped up and danced on the bar.
