EuroCheapo unveils affordable hotels search

Long a standard of the Europe-on-a-budget planning process, the cheap accommodations review site EuroCheapo now has a consolidated booking search for budget hotels, pensions, B&Bs, and hostels in cities around the Continent. Its new CheapoSearch shows users rates from multiple reservation agencies and links to booking engines.

You can sort results by price, neighborhood, name, or class, or you can sort to see the Editor’s Picks, those properties reviewed by EuroCheapo correspondents. For hotels not reviewed by the site, you’ll just see the hotel’s description, which tends not to offer quite the same insight, but does provide more choice.

I just did a sample search and found 246 listings for a two-night stay in Paris on November 29, with prices starting from $57 for a hotel (or less for a hostel). I like that EuroCheapo decided to create a multiple booking site search, since it reflects the budget traveler ethos of shopping around.
