Rain Gear
England is one of four parts of the United Kingdom along with Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. If you're heading here, make sure you've packed appropriately.
From Shakespeare to modern television comedies, England has been influencing the world for centuries. When planning a trip to this green and pleasant land, remember the weather and the fact that many towns have not changed in decades.
England is a lot further north than many people think. However, thanks to the moderating effects of ocean currents, it does not get very warm or cold. Pack accordingly. While it occasionally gets hot during the summer, the nights are still cool. Winter is more rainy than snowy. If you're here during the summer, bring a light jacket for cold winter nights. You'll also a need a light jacket during the winter.
Clothes to Pack
The green lands of England require a lot of rain. Protect yourself from the water. Have an umbrella you can fit in your purse. Bring a pair of sturdy rain boots so you don't slip when headed up the stairs of some ancient stone fort. Make sure your backpack is also water proof as a light drizzle is not uncommon during any given day. If you're camping along the shore, make sure your tent is completely waterproof.
