Adaptors
Durban is famed for its mild, sunny winter climate and year-round 'fun-in-the-water' weather. Temperatures range from 16°C to 25°C during the winter months of June, July and August, while summer temperatures can reach 32°C with relatively high humidity during the hot season.
All you need any time of the year is warm weather clothing. Pack light cotton or linen clothes, short sleeve shirts, shorts, sundresses, hats and swimsuits. Khakis are popular.
A simple cardigan or jacket for cooler evenings should be all that is required.
Clothes to Pack
The plugs won't accept western electronics, so pack a couple adaptors. If you forget to bring them or you need more of them, ask your hotel concierge, and the hotel should provide you with one.
Bring bug spray and sunscreen.
Bring any prescription medications or medications you take regularly.
Get a good map of the area, and don't forget your camera.
