Dubai Things to Do
The Jumeirah Mosque
The Jumeirah Mosque is considered to be one of the most beautiful structures in all of Dubai. It’s a wonderful example of Islamic architecture, where visitors can marvel at the detail of the stonework and the beauty of the mosque comes out best at night under a moonlit sky.
The Desert Conservation Reserve
The desert offers such an incredible beauty as most visitors would love the opportunity to ride a camel over the dunes. The Desert Conservation Reserve can make those dreams come true and so much more. Curious guests can get an in-depth lesson about a culture that once called the desert it’s home, while at the same time, observing wildlife roaming around the outdoors.
Burj Khalifa
No one can argue that Burj Khalifa is Dubai’s most famous skyscraper as it’s one of the tallest buildings in the world. Visitors can journey to the top and enjoy a “bird’s-eye” view of the city from the building’s observation deck.
The Waterparks (Atlantis, WildWadi and Yas Waterworld)
People of all ages can enjoy a day at one of Dubai’s waterparks. Youngsters can enjoy a number of different water rides, while the adults can have fun trying to stay afloat in the wave pool. The only guarantee is every water slide is extremely high, but each offers a thrilling ride into a waiting pool.
The Dubai Aquarium
One of city’s top attractions is the Dubai Aquarium, which houses underwater species from different parts of the world. Guests can enjoy a glass-bottom boat ride to observe the fishes or encounter a shark that is darting through one of the elevated water tanks.
Dubai Camel Races
From November through March, the locals flock to the Dubai Camel Race Course and witness the area’s favorite sport. Unfortunately, the races only occur on Thursday and Friday during the racing season.
A Dinner Cruise
Partaking in a dinner cruise is a memorable experience for all. Guests can enjoy an exquisite meal with family and friends, while traveling around the marina. The evening is capped off with a spirited performance from a local Arabian music and dance troupe.
Skydive Dubai
It’s not too often that a short plane ride can turn into a 13,000-foot free-fall jump, but that occurs during a Skydive Dubai event. Their team of expert jumpers provide a thrilling experience, and all of it is captured on video for you to enjoy over and over and over again.
The Dancing Dubai Fountain Show
The Dancing Dubai Fountain Show is different, but a very entertaining experience. It’s a synchronized water movement that is brilliantly choreographed to a wonderful musical soundtrack. First-time observers would be best served to stand at ground level and experience the water shooting up to 500 feet over their heads.
