We recently took a trip to Florida with the family. We saw the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the Everglades and the keys. What I found most disappointing about the trip are the extensive use of red light cameras. It seemed like every light was flashing taking my picture when I was driving around.
I was very careful to stop at every red light but apparently not careful enough. I was sent a ticket for red light violation in Florida City. I would avoid this city. The ticket said that they have the cameras to improve safety on the roads but the real reason behind the red light cameras is revenue. In my case I think it will backfire on the Florida – as I’m going to think twice or three times before returning.
