The Doll House Bed and Breakfast, Jamesport, MO.
I have stayed in many bed and breakfast establishments in the United States but particularly enjoyed the Doll House, no longer in business, in Jamesport, MO.
It was located in an Amish community and we would travel there twice a year for their local celebrations and stay in the Doll House.
There was a lovely soup, homemade bread and Amish delight that was served about 6 p.m. and the owner had a small shop that we could wander through and make purchases if we found something we really enjoyed.
The rooms were decorated so lovely. There was flavored, bottled water and boxes of candy if you wanted to go to your room. If you chose to stay in the living area it was great to watch “The Witness” as we prepared for our outing the next day into Amish country. In the background you could hear our hostess preparing the lavish breakfast for the morning.
Every need or care was looked after and I looked forward to our journey there each year. ************************************
