When to SaveIn Vegas, the period between Christmas and New Year's Eve, or during the weeks following Labor Day, can be good times to save on hotels. In Lake Tahoe, the best values can be found in October, when the aspens are changing color and the weather is still pleasant. May is also a good time to save money in Lake Tahoe, but the weather can be volatile. Reno is an affordable destination throughout the year.
When to BookAnytime can be a good time to book, even at the last minute. However, it's a good idea to book 21 days in advance to ensure reasonable airfare and availability. It's also a good idea to book hotels in advance to ensure choice of rooms.
