Weather InformationGeorgia experiences an average year-round temperature of 65 degrees. Summer temperatures reach an average high of 90 degrees, while winter averages a high of 55 degrees. Spring and autumn are often the preferred times to visit the state, because of the milder temperatures. Rain is common through out the year, with the heaviest rainfall in March. Light snow falls in the northern mountains in the winter, but rarely in the southern areas.
Crowd InformationA larger number of people visit Georgia in April and October. November through February is a perfect time to visit for those who hate long lines or large crowds.
