Even though Casablanca is located along the Atlantic Ocean, the city experiences a climate similiar to the Mediterranean, with mild weather throughout the year. Summers can be warm, with temperatures averaging in the upper 70s and mid-80s. Spring and fall can be pleasant and cool, with average highs in the mid-60s to mid-70s. Although temperatures remain in the 60s, winters can be wet, with the highest amount of rainfall occurring in December.
