With 92 percent of the country located between the equator and the tropic of Capricorn, Brazil is predominately tropical and boasts an average temperature of 82 degrees throughout the majority of the country. The south tends to be cooler with annual temperatures averaging 68 degrees and winter temperatures that can fall below freezing. Weather-wise, the most favorable time to visit is from June through August. Other months may experience high humidity mixed with hot temperatures. It is important to note that the seasons are the exact opposite of those in the U.S. and Europe (except for in the northern region of Brazil), when summer occurs from December through February and winter occurs from June through August.Crowd Information
