For a look at authentic local life, head for an area restaurant. Many offer a traditional Greek meal and then dancing afterwards. Start off with a platter of mezzes or appetizers of dips of yogurt made from local goat's milk and chickpeas and then some stuffed grape leaves. Try the grilled lamb or fish and end with a slice of backlava drizzled with honey. Many places offer dancing where audience participation is a must.

The center of town is where the action is at night. This is the place to be for nightclubs and bars. During the summer, Kavos starts partying as soon as the sun goes down. Dozens of clubs dot the area, offering drinks and dancing all night long.

Another part of Corfu that tends to attract a crowd at night are the coastal towns. The beach makes the perfect place to be when the sun goes down. Head for for small beach resorts such Ipsos and Roda. Other places where you'll find lots of clubs right next to the beach are Dassia and Gouvia.  Corfu Town is also a place that welcomes locals who just want to relax at night and those who want to head out for a night on the town. The Gouvia coastal road makes an ideal place to go looking for a party.
