Colorado Springs Nightlife
Colorado Springs rocks when it comes to nightlife! Here are some good places to start.
FAC Modern’s Jazz Bistro
This place has great atmosphere and beautiful art. A Dale Chihuly piece adorns the the back of the bar. But, don’t feel like you have to dress up! The locals hang out here. You will see everything from suits to jeans. Drinks are great, and the food is good, too.
Cowboys is the best country music spot in the city. They have a dance floor and a stage for their frequent live music. Most weekend nights they have a DJ from one of the local country radio stations. They also have okay steak dinners, pool tables and under 21 nights.
Dead Ant Tavern
This is a strip-mall hole-in-the-wall sports bar with a decent atmosphere for sports fan and bar crawlers. Good drink specials with Monday men’s nights with 75 cents off any drink. There’s usually free cover for many shows, with up-and-coming bands followed by karaoke on Mondays.
Hidden in an alley in downtown Colorado Springs, you’ll find a small, cozy and very friendly night spot. It’s a hip spot that serves excellent martinis and has a nice cigar menu. Nice place to have some good drinks and visit with friends.
O’Furry’s has been around for a long time. It’s a “neighborhood” bar on the old north side of Colorado Springs on East Fillmore Street. It’s kind of a rough and tumble kind of bar, but not too rough and tumble. They usually have live music on weekends, when it gets busy. There’s a large outdoor area with a volleyball court, and there’s a couple of pool tables inside. They also have a small food menu, with THE BEST jalapeno poppers in town!
