Pros: They’re light! It’s really hard to find lightweight boots, but these weigh in at an airy nine ounces each, making them the most packing-friendly boots I’ve found. But they’re also sturdy and supportive, with a wedge heel (for extra height with sure-footedness) and the same cushioning you’ll find in New Balance running shoes. I have a zero-tolerance policy for uncomfortable shoes, and these kept me happy even with all-day wear and uneven surfaces (including a walk through a field). Plus, they look great and come in brown, black, and red.

Cons: The soft, matte leather (at least in the red color) is affected by extended contact with moisture (rain, mud, etc.), so they’re probably not suited for travel to particularly snowy, rainy, or muddy places.

How Cobb Hill REVHex Women’s Boots Rate:

Usefulness: 10/10: They’re fashionable, comfortable, and lightweight, making them an ideal travel boot.
Value: 9/10. Competitively priced, these boots are well made and can rock both daytime and more casual evening looks
Durability: 8/10. The REVHex boots provide support on smooth and uneven surfaces, and have held up well over two months of heavy use. The leather around the front of the boot is showing slight signs of wear, which suggests these boots were not made for a trudge through mud (lesson learned).
Cool Factor: 9/10. They have just the right balance of personality and adaptability.

Final Verdict: These boots were made for walking … and packing light, and traveling. Nancy Sinatra finally has the sequel to her song.
