What Else Do You Need?
Make your trip to Cambodia more enjoyable by packing smart and bringing only what you need. Cambodia is one of those destinations where less is more. You don't want to over-pack or be weighed down by unnecessary luggage and items.
Light, loose and cool clothing is essential. Don't bring more than you need. Cambodia is extremely warm and if you are visiting sites like Angkor Wat you'll be doing lots of walking in the hot sun. Though shorts and tanks seem like the best solution, you will want to bring appropriate clothing for the temples. Shoulders must be covered and shorts are frowned upon. Lightweight long skirts and light-colored, loose, and long-sleeved blouses are good.
There is plenty of shopping to be found in Cambodia. You'll find tons of t-shirts, loose pants, dresses and more, so leave room in your suitcase and don't forget your swimsuit. Even if you aren't going to the beach or islands, your hotel may have a pool and swimwear isn't easy to find in Cambodia.
Clothes to Pack
Sunglasses, comfortable shoes, and a hat are a must. You will also want to bring sunscreen and insect repellent. This is very important as mosquitos can be a big problem.
Toiletries to Pack
You will take tons of pictures in Cambodia, so be prepared and bring extra memory cards. Don't let fear of losing or breaking your equipment keep you from bringing along your good camera and lenses.
