Located right near the airport, the direct factory outlet is an ideal place to shop when you’re headed for another destination in Australia or internationally. Open from ten to six, stores sell everything from housewares to clothing to furniture. There’s also a coffee bar and a food court. Drive and find ample parking or you can take the Brisbane City Council bus. Look for route number 308 that will bring you from Centro Toombul bus interchange.
Westfield Shopping Center
Over four floors greet shoppers here with a cool and inviting place sheltered from the elements. There’s a large gym, dozens of restaurant, a movie theater and a library as well as a varied shops. It’s an easy drive from the center of town.
Myer Center in the Queen Street Mall
Centered in the heart of the city, the Queen Street mall is the premier shopping plaza in the city. This open air promenade makes a great space to enjoy the city while shopping. Dozens of shops offer lots of upscale items from some of the finest retailers in the country. The Queen Street Mall also has many bargain places and plenty of places to grab a bite to eat. The mall is flooded with light during the day. It also has a specific space where you can drop off your kids while you head for the stores.
