When it comes to a big night out, Blackpool reigns supreme, with something for everyone.
Blackpool has a lot to offer at night. There are cinemas, bowling alleys, nightclubs, pubs and theaters. If you go to the cinema, go to the Odeon, but bring your own food because the food there is overpriced.
Along the golden mile, there are more bars than you can count offering a party atmosphere. Most bars have a license to sell alcohol until early morning, but most people end up at a night club, and in Blackpool, the king of them all in is “The Palace.”
Fancy taking in a show? Blackpool has a wide variety of popular shows to offer throughout the year. There’s the Hot Ice show at Pleasure Beach and Lord of the Dance at the opera house, and there are frequent music concerts throughout the year featuring popular national and international acts.
Blackpool Tower Ballroom
If you feel like showing off some of your steps or simply want to have a good time, head over to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom. Even if you don’t know the first thing about dancing, you’ll admire the sumptuous design and luxurious decor of this grand ballroom while a live band plays amazing music.
Apparently, there are several paranormal entities in the ballroom, including a young man, a sobbing young woman and two children.
Hot Tip: If you go to the cinema, pub or bowling, dress casual. If you go to a nightclub, dress up. If you go to the theater, dress up a little more conservatively.
