  • Bergen Nightlife

  • Running up the mountainside, Bergen is the second largest city in Norway with small town charm. Surrounded by seven mountains and a calming sea, Bergen has plenty to offer in Nightlife, clubs, and bars amongst its pristine backdrop.

  • Clubs and Disco

  • Located in the art museum building is the Landmark Club. The artsy, funky, and creative feel brings urbanites together for themed parties and events on different nights of the week. At the Stagediving party, held on the last Friday of every month, you will find local theatre actors putting on a show and singing tunes. Hit the SnickkSnakk party on Sunday evenings for a quit evening with composers and musicians. Dress according to the theme that night for extra points!

The Metro Nightclub is a great place for hanging with friends and dancing to the DJs top hits while bartenders entertain you with super cool tricks and moves. Dress code is less casual than other places. Engelen nightclub is another place to see how Norwegians experience the nightlife, but Banco Rotto Dancing is the biggest nightclub in Bergen. Here you will find a DJ some nights and live music on others. There is a restaurant next door if you get hungry.

  • Bergen International Festival

  • Bergenites are very patriotic and love their home. That is never more evident than when celebrating the Bergen International Festival, a yearly international music and cultural event. The festival lasts for fourteen days, starting near the end of May and heading into June. At the festival, you will find dance, art, literature, folklore, and many other cultural aspects. The International Jazz Festival comes to Bergen at the same time. The festival spans across many streets and buildings in Bergen.
