Things to Do in Dubai: Atlantis – Aquaventure Water Park
When in Dubai, there’s no place more fun than the Atlantis Aquaventure Water Park. Bring the whole family to spend a day or two riding the waves.
A basic entry fee pays for your admission to the water park, a towel, and a locker to keep your belongings. More expensive packages include food and souvenirs. You’ll receive a wrist band that’s connected to your credit card. This allows you to easily make purchases without needing to carry your wallet. The park opens every day at 10 am and closes at sunset. Children under 13 must enter the park with an adult, and those over 1.2 meters tall must pay the adult price.
Aquaventure features a wide range of extreme water slides. Some will take you through tunnels with sharks just on the other side of the glass. The Leap of Faith is a water slide with a near-vertical plunge into the pool below, and the Master Blaster coasters are like riding a roller coaster in an inner tube. You’ll love the wide range of options.
Those who aren’t up for that much excitement or who are traveling with younger children will be happy to know that there are other fun attractions. On the lazy river ride, you can simply float along in your inner tube. The Splashers area for young children has climbing areas, rope bridges, and water jets. The whole family can get in on the action in this zone.
