The Florida

Get quality caviar at the Florida night club, open until 11 pm. The caviar is cheap, fresh, salty and cool. Eat it with black bread or crackers, sour pickle relish, and a hit of vodka.

The British Pub

Located below the Florida nightclub, the British Pub has food, drinks, and a pool table. Go for Happy Hour from 8 to 10 PM and get a 50% discount on your bill.

Disco

Hotel Nissa houses a dance club appropriately named “Disco.” On weekends it’s packed, and though it opens at 9 pm the action really cranks up after midnight and goes until 5 am the next day. Weekdays are much quieter, but the hours remain the same.

Zip Bar

Zip Bar is a popular Peace Corps hangout. Food and drink are cheap and there is outdoor seating for enjoying Mexican pizza and local shashlyk, or kebabs. If you want to run into Americans, it’s almost guaranteed that there will be a group of them there on any given Friday of Saturday.

Theatres

Watch folk tales brought to life on stage at the Mollanepes Drama Theatre, open Wednesday through Saturday at 7 pm. Magtymguly Theatre presents musical performances during the winter months beginning at 7 pm, but it’s closed during the summer.
