    To choose the winners, Resonance compared six categories: place (air quality, weather, crime rate, outdoor activities, commute time); product (university rankings, airports, entertainment, housing affordability); programming (shopping, culture, nightlife, cuisine); people (immigration rate and diversity); prosperity (employment rate, GDP, household income); and promotion (TripAdvisor reviews, Instagram Hashtags, Google search results).
