Amalfi Shopping

Amalfi is picturesque to say the least, and it comes with plenty of fun shopping to explore. Below you’ll find Amalfi shopping information, including shops, stores, best buys and inside tips you must try!

Chocolate Shops

In Amalfi you can find a wonderful chocolate shop with delicious chocolate and friendly service. The store attendant speaks English making it was easier to get advice on what to choose. There are many options, including some small chocolates with different fillings.

Each one of them is tasty and it’ll be hard to decide which ones to bring home or buy as gifts. They also have a bigger shop with a cafe at Piazza del Municipio, but there is a different variety of chocolates at the smaller shop. The prices are not bad for handmade chocolate.

Street Shops

There are dozens of little shops, tucked away in narrow streets and lanes. It’s best to take your time and see the lot, then come back to the shops you really want to buy from. The prices can vary, as there is plenty of competition. The shopkeepers are very friendly and helpful and most speak English. You’ll find everything from postcards, and souvenirs, to leather shoes and plenty of clothes. Don’t forget the Limoncello!

Souvenirs

The Piaza and surrounding area is filled with souvenir and ceramic shops, art galleries, and restaurants. You can find beautiful ceramics and dishes, hand painted tiles, limoncello and other wines and liquors, beautifully packaged pastas and spices, and tackier souvenir magnets and shot glasses. If you want to buy limoncello or wines to take home, try the supermarket on the right on your way up the street. They have many items similar to the specialty shops, but at better prices.
