New cities include San Diego, Phoenix, Daytona Beach, St. Louis, and Newburgh, New York. According to an AirTran official, the airline may add a few more cities that have yet to be announced.
Though AirTran posted a loss of $3.3 million for the fourth quarter of 2006, overall it had a net income of $15.5 million for 2006.
