Krka National Park Transportation – Taxi, Train, Bus & Airport Tips

Krka National Park Transportation

Since it’s located far away from the major cities in Croatia, you might think that it’s hard to get to Krka National Park’s mountains and idyllic waterfall. However, a number of transportation services help visitors get to and from the park without a hassle.

Bus

By far the most popular and least expensive way to get to the park is to take a charter bus with other visitors. Buses drop off visitors at the main walking path of the park free of charge if visitors have already purchased an admission ticket. The buses run regularly during the summer time and have a convenient spot for pick up and drop off, but in the winter time it’s less dependable. The best seats go fast, so try to get a spot near the front of the line, but be prepared to stand up for the ride if you can’t.

Boat

Boat tours through Krka Park remain some of the most popular excursions. The boat departs from Skradin departs once per hour. Not only is it cheap, with a ticket at about seven Euro, but it offers a tremendous view of the park that you may not be able to see from the trails.

Train

The only way to get to Krka by train is to take the connection from Sibelnik. This station links Krka with the larger cities in Croatia and nearby countries. You can buy a train ticket at the central Sibelnik station, where you can also get a ticket for the bus that goes up and down from the park.
