Foz do Iguaçu Transportation – Taxi, Train, Bus & Airport Tips

Foz do Iguaçu Transportation

The famous falls in Foz do Iguaçu draws people in from all over the world, and transportation has to reflect the crowds and their schedules. For taxi, train, bus and airport tips from fellow travelers, read more about how to get around.

Buses and Schedules

You should be able to get to the falls via bus regardless of where you are, whether you’re starting in Paraguay, Argentina or Brazil. You might experience long lines for the bus if you’re coming from Argentina or Paraguay, so plan accordingly. If you’re coming from Puerto Iguazu, there are buses that run every half hour or so during peak hours. If you’re just coming for the day, you shouldn’t need to get an exit/re-entry stamp, but you will need to make it clear to customs that you will only be there for the day.

Tips for the Bus

The bus tickets won’t be reusable so plan your timing well when it comes to getting back and forth. You shouldn’t need to change money, but it helps to know some Portuguese when you’re on the bus too. Once you’re at the park, there’s a bus that will run you through the main parts. It’s free and efficiently runs you back and forth, even when the park is crowded.

Taxis and Vans in Foz do Iguaçu
