When it comes to transportation in Mont-Tremblant, the best way to get to the town is by shuttle. Here are some tips for traveling around the small town of Mont-Tremblant.

Bus Service

There is a bus service available that runs from the Mont-Tremblant station to the old village of Saint-Jovite. The bus service stops at many of the major hotels and sites located throughout the area and it comes around about every hour.

Free Cabriolet

The only public transportation that is available in the village of Mont-Tremblant is the cabriolet that goes from the bottom to the top of the village. It does not cost anything to take the cabriolet and using it will save you energy and time. Plus, it is a great ride. It is an open air ride and is great for people watching and seeing the resort from above.

Lifts

There are 11 lifts located throughout Mont-Tremblant. Located on the south side there is a newer Gondola Express, which is an 8 passenger heated lift that will whisk you to the top of the village in nine minutes. Also on the south side is the Cabriolet, the Flying Mile Express, TGV, and La Porte du Soleil. On the north side you will find the Duncan Express, Express Expo, and Lowell Thomas.

Be Ready to Walk

Mont-Tremblant is a pedestrian village, so when you visit make sure that you are prepared to walk. The village is quite small, but walking up and down can be quite tiring. Make sure that you wear good walking shoes and bring along plenty of water.
