Tijuana Things To Do – Attractions & Must See

Tijuana Things To Do

Tijuana is a rich and vibrant border culture. The intrepid traveler will find many things to do in Tijuana.

Crossing

Entering into Tijuana from San Diego is very easy. You may walk or drive through the border crossing checks.

The Tijuana Arch

The Tijuana Arch welcomes you to Zona Centro. Begin your journey on Calle 1, at the bottom of Avenida Revolucion.

Tijuana Cultural Center

Hosting over a million visitors a year, the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) encompasses an OMNIMAX theater, a museum of Mexican history with exhibits from the various regions of Mexico, a concert hall, courtyard, a cafe and a bookshop.

Zona Rio

Zona Rio owes its name to the nearly-dried Tijuana River, which divides Zona Rio. The river is crossed by many bridges to allow traffic between the west side of Zona Rio, located at the west-center of the city, and the east of Zona Rio, located in the east-center. This is the central business district, and here you’ll discover many monuments and statues to honor the heroes of Mexican and Latin American culture.

Zona Rio is the modern shopping area where you’ll find many restaurants and nightclubs to enjoy.

Catedral de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe

Tijuana’s main cathedral lies a few blocks south of Avenida Revolucion, on Calle 2. Built in 1902, it still holds services every weekend.
