It’s rare for a storm to earn itself a new moniker, but that’s exactly what this latest blast of wintry fury has accomplished. Dubbed a “snowicane,” the storm is expected to bring heavy snow and near-hurricane-force winds to the Northeast and New England today and into tonight.
