JetBlue Auctions All-You-Can-Jet Passes for Charity

Unless you were on Mars last week, you probably heard about the return of JetBlue's All-You-Can-Jet Pass, which provides nearly unlimited travel to most of JetBlue's destinations. The pass sold out, but stragglers or folks who missed the opportunity to buy have one more chance to get their hands on a pass.

JetBlue has put three passes up for bid on eBay, with the proceeds going to benefit the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer initiative. The auction ends Thursday, August 26, at 6 p.m. PDT.

Here are the pass details:

Unlimited All-You-Can-Jet Pass for Two: Travel seven days a week between September 7 and October 6; includes five $100 Hertz gift cards and three nights in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Unlimited All-You-Can-Jet Pass for One: Travel seven days a week between September 7 and October 6; includes three $100 Hertz gift cards and two nights in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Five-Day All-You-Can-Jet Pass for Two: Travel Mondays through Thursdays and Saturdays between September 7 and October 6; includes five $100 Hertz gift cards and two nights in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The downside, I suppose, is that the passes are not as good a deal as they were when JetBlue sold them directly. The five-day pass was sold for $499, and the seven-day pass went for $699. Still, it's likely the final bid price of each pass will still be a deal compared to booking several flights independently.

But that's not the point of the auction, obviously. So if you want to snag a pass, and do a little good in the process, get bidding!
